What is VelocityAI? VelocityAI is an imaging informatics software tool that enables rapid creation of therapy plans and provides new methods to assess the effectiveness of therapy.
Made for oncologists
VelocityAI includes automated deformable image registration and contouring capabilities that improves efficiency and quality of radiation therapy planning as well as a new, patent pending technology to evaluate tumor response to therapy. Velocity provides oncologists with the following key features:
• Multi-modality image registration
• Quantitative tumor assessment
• Atlas-based anatomical segmentation
• Treatment planning integration
• Windows/Mac/Portable
Deformable fusion. Deform images acquired in a non-treatment
position back into the treatment position
for revolutionary accuracy in planning.
Atlas segmentation. Automated segmentation algorithm
provides structures of interest creation
in a matter of seconds.
Response assessment. Assess changes in the biologic
activity of a patient’s cancer over time
and compare with the delivered dose.
Deformable Image Fusion Velocity’s image registration and fusion tools allow clinicians to rapidly fuse diagnostic imaging modalities to planning images to ensure the best match for anatomical and biologic modeling. VelocityAI enables a physician to track voxel changes between planning CT images and CBCT images acquired during treatment delivery.
Atlas & Adaptive Contouring Velocity’s pioneering solution combines advanced deformation tools with a clinically developed volumetric atlas allowing for maximum efficiency and accuracy during the segmentation process. Adaptive contouring is available to adjust contours when a patient loses weight during or changes position during treatment. Velocity also allows 4D contour propagation, where contours created on one phase of respiratory cycle can be mapped onto to all respiratory phases. PET and MR images may be deformed along with the 4D CT images to understand how all a patient's imagery moves during the 4D cycle.
PET/CT Tumor Volume Segmentation VelocityAI utilizes SUV and intensity thresholding methods for automatically contouring and planning the PET tumor-target volume.
Dose Evaluation
DICOM RT Dose may be associated with functional and anatomical images for review of treatment plans using isodose curves and dose volume histograms.
Visualize. VelocityAI’s advanced visualization
makes it easier to see function
and anatomy.
Track. Deform one image study to another
for both mid-therapy and post-therapy
image acquisitions.
Assess. Using voxel mapping,
assess
the changes
between registered image studies.
